PrimeIT’s third Webinar was held last Thursday and focused on one of the most challenging issues of the actuality: Cybersecurity. Gilberto, Eduardo and Ricardo, our Primers specialists in this area, shared their experience and tips that we can all use in our day-to-day lives.

With the growing and constant technological evolution, many of our actions occur online, and Cybersecurity is no longer just a concern for companies but also individual users. In everyday life, such as when checking a bank account in an application, accessing social networks or making payments for online purchases, we are susceptible to the dangers of a security breach. It is vital to ensure safe behaviour. In this Prime Webinar # 3, we analyzed some real cases of incidents, mentioned types of attacks and attackers, found out what’s behind social engineering and then learned about some actions and mechanisms that could defend users, such as: not using passwords too simple, too short or reused, do not share passwords between users, do not click on unknown links (spam/phishing), do not maintain authenticated sessions on an unsupervised device, use additional security measures (such as the second factor of authentication) and many other tips that you can found recorded, on PrimeIT’s Youtube Channel.
