PrimeIT’s Christmas Solidarity
PrimeIT’s Christmas Solidarity
December 16, 2020
Prime Care did not want to remain indifferent to this Christmas, which forces us to rethink our traditions, without stopping it from being special. This time, PrimeIT’s programme wanted to present the children of its employees with a gesture that intends to teach the little ones the true meaning of Christmas: solidarity and the spirit of mutual help. In this way, the children of Primers, up to and including the age of 12, received a solidary gift: the Xi-Coração, a toy which value reverts to the Rui Osório de Castro Foundation, which supports sick children and their families.
The plush toy in question becomes even more special at a time when physical affections have to take second place because, as the name suggests, – Xi-Coração – its mission is to embrace children, transmitting the Foundation’s values and vision, as a way of transmitting protection, warmth and affection.
The Rui Osório de Castro Foundation, created in 2009, has as its main objective to support and protect children with cancer and their families, concentrating its activity on two main areas: informing, enlightening parents and children on issues related to children’s cancer and promoting research, thus contributing to the advancement of medicine in this area.
Over the years, Prime Care has increasingly sought to involve not only Primers, but also their families, in its solidarity and environmental actions and, with the growing number of activities, has gained an even more important place in the consultancy’s annual planning.
