Context & OBJECTIVE

Ecological districts are at the forefront of modern construction. They can ensure more than 50% of a typical family’s heating and hot water requirements, with less than 70% of CO2 emissions compared to a traditional gas solution.

To promote this initiative in districts with similar characteristics, EDF Optimal Solutions renewed the partnerships with several real estate companies through heat sales contracts for 20 years.

This was the case in the ecological district of Toulon, in which international Prime teams were actively involved in the study and design of the entire structure.

Intervention work:

• Participation in the overall technical design review.
• Sizing of equipment (ECS calculation notes, selection of pumps, among others).
• Preparation of encryptions.
• Composition of texts for technical consultation (strategic text, CCPs, TMP, schematic diagrams, among others).
