MIDDLE EAST
Water Desalination
Context & OBJECTIVE
Seawater desalination is widely used in regions where fresh water is scarce or hard to find, so this is a frequent solution to the increasing problem of shortage of resources.
This problem affects many parts of the world, including the Middle East, leading to the construction of large desalination platforms in this region, which is responsible for producing about ¾ of all desalinated water in the world.
Our engineering teams took part in the project study and design phases.
Intervention work:
- Carry out preliminary execution studies.
- Support the electrical research on a platform extension.
- Support the monitoring of technical teams responsible for the desalination process – reverse osmosis process.
