Christmas is synonymous with magic, family, and solidarity. It is the perfect time to think about others and make a difference for those who find themselves unable to celebrate the season in the comfort of their homes.

PrimeIT did not forget the solidary side of this special season and decided to give a monetary contribution to support a pioneer project – Nuvem Vitória (“Cloud Victory”).

The mega Christmas event of the Portuguese technology company, Winter Wonderland, featured two professional storytellers, two clouds that delighted the dozens of children present at the event.

On cloud nine with Nuvem Vitória

Founded in 2016 by the journalist Fernanda Freitas, the Nuvem Vitória Association is a volunteer project that tells bedtime stories to children admitted to hospitals.

The basis of the message is one of victory over illness. From Monday to Friday, between 7:30 pm and 10 pm, more than 800 volunteers tell children’s stories in eight hospitals from the North to the South of Portugal.

The main mission of Nuvem Vitória is to provide a night of restful sleep for hospitalized children, but also to give free rein to their imagination and room to dream through reading. It is a cloud of words that comforts both children and adults in the pediatric ward.
